World Leaders and Royal Family Express Shock and Condolences After Tumbler Ridge Mass Shooting
Following the mass shooting in BC's Tumbler Ridge, world leaders and the Royal Family sent condolence to the victims and the nation.King Charles III and Queen Camilla expressed grief that this shocking and terrifying incident occurred in the small town of British Columbia. Prince William and Catherine also shared gratitude for the efforts of first responders and the courage of students and staff members. The incident happened on Tuesday around 1:20pm, where 10 people were killed including the shooter, and 25 others were also injured. On international level, the U.K. 's Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz also released statements of solidarity. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney also cancelled his Germany visit after this tragedy.
